Statement of Philosophy

Developing your philosophy can be an inspiring process, particularly if you have someone devoted to developing it in an authentic and collaborative manner.  At SNC we take pride in the manner we offer support to services when developing their philosophy.  It is not a generic process in any form, but custom designed and inclusive of the values and beliefs of the organisation, staff, families and children. It highlights the fundamental rights of the child to an education that is of high quality and responsive to their identity.

The philosophy can be developed at a service, area or organisational level.  Processes generally involve:

  • initial meetings

  • survey collection and analysis

  • presentation of survey results

  • consultation with the community, families and children

  • consultation with staff and leadership of the organisation

  • drafting and review

  • final development and printing
